Flat badly damaged in blaze

A SECOND floor flat in Holden Park Road, Southborough, was badly damaged by heat and smoke after a fire broke shortly after 6.30pm last night.

No one was hurt, but neighbours were evacuated as fire crews from Tunbridge Wells and Southborough, led by Sub Officer Tony Mole, dealt with the incident.

The fire is thought to have been caused by an electrical fault.
