Martin Allen will be forced into making midfield changes again this week because of Charlie Allen’s suspension.

The Gills boss will be without Allen (pictured) for one game as he sits out the trip to Oxford on Saturday after being sent-off on Tuesday at Northampton.

Fellow midfielder Danny Jackman is also absent through suspension as he serves the second game of a three-match ban.

But youngster Bradley Dack is likely to be recalled to the squad after seeing out his own suspension. He was banned after being sent-off in the home win over Southend.

Dack will be hoping for an immediate return to the starting XI but Allen may instead favour the attacking vigour of Myles Weston or Andy Frampton, who has impressed on the left side of midfield when coming off the bench.

Allen has few other concerns, with Charlie Lee and keeper Ross Flitney the only injury absentees.

Lee has been sidelined since the Southend game on September 18 with a knee injury while Flitney is still returning to full fitness.
