Gillingham’s young striker Luis Cumbers has joined Blue Square Premier side AFC Wimbledon on an initial one month loan.

Cumbers (pictured) spent time on loan there during the 07/08 season and helped them to promotion to the Conference South.

AFC Wimbledon have made it through to the FA Cup first round and they face a tough outing on Monday night when they travel to Millwall.

Cumbers, who recently had a loan spell with Ebbsfleet, has been given permission to play in the game.

A new one year deal was handed to Cumbers in the summer but he has struggled to find a way into the Gillingham first team this season.
