Gillingham will get their new npower League 2 season under way with a home game against Bradford City.

The Bantams will travel to Priestfield on Saturday August 18 for a 3pm kick-off with the Gills visiting Wycombe Wanderers in their first away game three days later.

The busy festive schedule will see Gillingham travel to newly-promoted York City in their final game before Christmas, on Saturday, December 22, before hosting Barnet, now managed by former Gills assistant Mark Robson, on Boxing Day.

Northampton Town make the trip to Kent on December 29 before Gills make a New Year's Day trip through the Dartford Tunnel to play Southend United.

Gills will face a quick turnaround over the Easter break when they make the long trek to Lancashire to take on newly-promoted Blue Square Bet Premier champions Fleetwood Town on March before returning to Kent to host Rotherham two days later.

Gillingham will conclude what they hope will be a promotion-winning campaign with the visit of Burton Albion to Priestfield on April 27.
