Dennis Oli could miss Saturday’s match with Burton Albion after receiving a set-back to his rehabilitation from injury.

The winger (pictured) made his first appearance of the season at Bradford last weekend from the substitute bench after missing the start of the season with a hamstring injury.

He played just under an hour for the reserves on Tuesday at Aldershot but boss Andy Hessenthaler wasn’t happy with the player’s condition.

Hessenthaler said: "Oli still looks short and we took him off. He’s still not hundred per cent right with his hamstring and he might have aggravated it. He may be out of the squad at the weekend.

"We have to get him 100 per cent and he is not right yet."

Hessenthaler could also be without left-back John Nutter this weekend. He suffered a groin injury in training on Monday.

How big a loss will Oli and Nutter be for the Gills? Comment below.
