Hundreds say final farewell to tragic Drew

MOURNERS paid their final respects at the funeral of a young man who died in a tragic incident in the early hours of February 3.

Drew Shepherd, 23, died near his home in the Twydall area of Gillingham. Hundreds of people attended his funeral service at the Holy Trinity Church at Twydall.

From there, mourners went to the Garden of England Crematorium at Bobbing, near Sittingbourne, where Mr Shepherd, was cremated.

After the funeral family and friends met at the Lloyds Social Club in Featherby Road at Gillingham.

* Lee Bullen, aged 21, of Heritage Drive, Gillingham, has appeared in court accused of Mr Shepherd’s murder.
