Intruder with scar stole from disabled woman

A BURGLAR entered a flat where a disabled woman was sitting in her lounge and escaped with her purse.

The break-in happened at around 1.50pm on Friday, January 26 at premises in Connaught Road, Folkestone.

Detectives investigating the incident have now released an e-fit of the intruder. He is described as a white man aged in his late 20s to early 30s, around 6ft tall and of thin build.

He had dark, short hair that was combed back and was clean shaven. He had a distinctive scar on the outer corner of his right eyebrow and was wearing a dark parka style jacket, dark coloured jeans and white sports trainers.

Anyone who can give a name for the suspect or any information that would help police to identify him, is asked to contact DC Nick Houghton on 01303 850055.
