Kent football fan Garry Mann sensationally won a last-minute reprieve today from being sent to Portugal to be jailed.

The 52-year-old has been granted permission to continue his legal battle against extradition - after a failed appeal at the European Court of Human Rights.

He was sentenced to two years in jail over a riot at Euro 2004.

Today, the High Court agreed to hear his case again on May 7.

Mann had been due to be sent back next Wednesday.
