Landlords looking to bring new properties onto the rental market will be the focus of a new lettings department in Maidstone.

Kent's largest independent estate agents Ward & Partners has added to its 44 branches in the county.

As well as getting new homes on the market, the new team will look for reliable tenants.

All the follow up work, such as the processing, day-to-day administration and support, will be handled at the Frindsbury office.

Area manager Robert Feast said: "All too often, the story in the lettings sector is one of indifferent service.

"By contrast, having our own dedicated support facility backed by field networks of specialist contractors and property inspectors means that Ward & Partners can consistently deliver the very highest levels of service to both landlords and tenants.

"A lot of firms claim to offer some sort of rent guarantee, but these are invariably just insurance schemes.

"At Ward & Partners, we underwrite the scheme ourselves with our Rent Assured Scheme.

"In other words, we actually put our money where our mouth is."

As well as handling lettings in Maidstone itself, the new department will also cover Bearsted, Headcorn, Kings Hill, Larkfield, Loose, Snodland and Staplehurst.
