A man has been arrested after a spate of suspicious fires in Tunbridge Wells last night.

Police and fire crews were called to five suspected arsons across the town into the early hours of this morning.

In the largest incident, in packaging outside the Tesco Metro store in Grosvenor Road, four fire crews were needed. The others were minor bin fires, with no injuries.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson, and is being questioned at at Tonbridge Police Station.
