A MAN appeared in court today charged with the murder of 50-year-old Medway man Colin Rhodes. John Harding, of Afghan Road, Chatham, was remanded in custody by Medway magistrates.

Mr Rhodes, of Luton Road, Chatham, was found dead at a property in Lester Road, Chatham, on Friday. It is believed he had been attending a party there.

Magistrates committed the case to the Crown Court for trial. The hearing is expected to take place later this year.
