Man's body found on wasteland in Sittingbourne

The body of a man has been found in wasteland.

Kent Police were called to an area between Staplehurst Road and the Senora Fields estate in Sittingbourne, after receiving a call from a member of the public at about 10.30pm on Wednesday.

The body of a man, believed to be between 20 and 30, was found.

The man had no identification on him and police are keen to identify him so his next-of-kin can be informed.

He was wearing a white sports vest, white knee-length shorts and a pair of red and white training shoes.

Police are investigating the cause of death, which is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
