THE famous Canada Heights track in Swanley will host the British Maxxis Championship on Sunday.

After two exciting races in the first round, Josh Coppins – last year’s runner-up – is tied at the top of the standings with CAS Honda teammate Ken De Dycker of Belgium in the MX1 class.

There are another 38 top riders in the field, with a quarter of them having ridden at world level.

The event, hosted by Sidcup Motorcyle Club, will have free parking, refreshments, trade stands and free paddock walkabouts.

There will also be a chance to meet the British Paris-Dakar riders Charlie Boorman, Patsy Quick and Simon Pavey.
