Motorbike rider injured in Ashford crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash between and motorbike and car which left the rider injured.

The crash was between a black Vauxhall Corsa and a Triumph Speedmaster on Magpie Hall Road, Stubbs Cross, Ashford, at 5.09pm on Thursday.

The motorcyclist, a local man, was taken to the town's William Harvey Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. He is stable but will remain in hospital.

The car driver was unhurt.
