Murder inquiry launched in Gravesend

Two men have been charged with murder after a man died in Gravesend.

Police were called to an address in South Street, Gravesend, at around 2.30pm on Saturday.

Damien Karkut, 24, of Armery Drive, Gravesend and Artur Kozlowski, 30, of South Street, Gravesend, were both charged yesterday.

A post mortem examination revealed the victim died of multiple injuries.

The pair appeared in court today via the Virtual Court from North Kent Police Station.

They were remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on January 7.
