THIS is the man police want to question following a sex attack on a teenage girl.

Police have issued a fresh appeal for information after a 15-year-old was assaulted in an alleyway.

The girl had been walking down Woodlands Road, Gillingham, on her way home with a friend.

She left her friend near the railway bridge and walked down Cinder Alley towards Ingram Road.

But moments later the girl was attacked by a man in his 20s.

He is described as 24-years-old, 5ft 4in, with shaven blond hair.

He had a gold ring in his left ear and was wearing a dark blue Adidas top and black T-shirt.

Although the assault happened on July 8 just after 4pm, Medway Police are hoping the e-fit will prompt witnesses to come forward.

Det Sgt Terry Easterby said: "The victim was obviously very distressed and I would urge anyone who may have information to contact Medway police on 01634 884071 or Cimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
