Margate lost their unbeaten record in the Ryman League Premier Division when Concord Rangers scored twice in the last 10 minutes to earn a 2-0 victory at Hartsdown Park on Tuesday night.

Gate handed a debut to 17-year-old goalkeeper Josh Mattless after Darren Holloway was ruled out through injury.

The teenager did well and had no chance with either goal.

A crowd of 1,401 saw Maidstone United draw 1-1 with Hythe at the Gallagher Stadium.

Paul Booth, pictured, gave United the lead with a penalty in the 41st minute following a controversial handball decision.

Hythe were the better side in the second half and levelled on 73 minutes when Brendon Cass intercepted Ian Draycott's backpass and beat Charlie Mitten.

Sittingbourne went close to pulling off a great escape at bottom side Horsham, but lost 4-3.

The hosts opened up a 4-0 lead before Joe Taylor gave the Brickies hope on the stroke of half-time.

Bourne set up a tense finish when Tom Loynes and Taylor scored in second-half injury-time.

James Turner snatched a last-minute equaliser as Herne Bay battled back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Chipstead.

Dean Grant launched the fightback in the 66th minute.

Thamesmead made it three home wins out of three in Ryman League Division 1 North.

Rob Carter scored twice and Enoch Adjei was also on target in a 3-0 victory over Waltham Abbey.
