Pedestrian killed in truck tragedy is named

A MAN who died after being hit by a lorry in the county in the early hours of Friday morning has been identified by police.

He was 37-year-old Adrian Fennell of Tilgham Way, Snodland, near Rochester. The tragedy happened on the A228 Snodland bypass at around 12.30am on Friday.

Members of Mr Fennell's family have paid tribute to a "much loved husband, dad, son and brother". In a statement they added: "He was a fun loving, caring friend to all who knew him.

"As a young lad he joined the TA and has seen active service in both Bosnia and Iraq. He will be sadly missed."
