Police probe second holiday home blaze

Two fires yesterday at separate holiday parks have sparked a police investigation.

The first involved a caravan at Warden Springs caravan park, Thornhill Road, Warden.

It happened just before 3am and is being treated as arson by the police but they say it is too early to say whether the second is also being treated as suspicious.

A small fire in a chalet at Eastern Holiday Camp, Leysdown Road, Leysdown, occurred at 11.30pm.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the caravan fire and anyone with information is asked to ring them on 01795 419350 quoting reference CY/12387/08
