Do you recognise this man - wanted after a teenager suffered a scary ordeal?

Police have released the e-fit after a Deal teenager was followed by a man who tried to force his way into her home.

The suspected followed the 18-year-old woman from Deal rail station down Blenheim Road, Beaconsfield Road and into Victoria Road at about 11.50pm on Friday May 18.

But, as the woman reached her home he ran up to her, hugged and tried to kiss her.

As he tried to grab her coat she pushed him away and shut the front door on his arm.

The next day the girl reported seeing the same man at Deal railway station.

He got on the same train to Dover and followed her to work at a pub before disappearing.

He is described as white, 5ft 6ins, skinny, aged between 45 and 50 with short, brown, messy hair and a gap between his front teeth. He was wearing a green hooded coat and blue jeans.

Anyone who knows the man or has information is asked to contact Kent Police on 101, giving reference ZY/13772.
