Prince's Zane Scotland qualifies for the Open but Todd Adcock, Matt Ford, Daniel Casey and Michael Bush miss the cut

Prince's Golf Club's Zane Scotland landed a place at the Open Golf Championship on Tuesday.

Scotland qualified in second place during Final Local Qualifying at Fairmont St Andrews.

Rounds of 66 and 71 gave him a score of seven under par, one shot off the lead.

Todd Adcock, of the Nevill, just missed out, scoring five under par to finish one shot away from the top three places.

Bearsted-based Matt Ford carded rounds of 73 and 74 to finish three over par, two shots ahead of The London club's Daniel Casey.

At Scotscraig, Rochester & Cobham Park's Michael Bush carded rounds of 71 and 73 to finish four over par, seven shots away from a qualifying place.

The Open takes place at St Andrews from July 15-18.
