Ryman League round-up

Folkestone Invicta recorded a fine away draw at Ryman League Division 1 South leaders Bognor Regis to return to the play-off places.

The visitors took then lead through red-hot striker Stuart King a minute before half-time, but the hosts levelled seven minutes after the interval through Ashley Robinson to keep their unbeaten home record intact.

In Division 1 North, Chatham Town ran-riot against Ware, winning 5-2 at Maidstone Road, to go 11th.

Ricci Crace put Ware ahead but Gary Tilley and Lloyd Blackman put the Chats 2-1 up, only for Aime Blessing to level on 40 minutes.

Then 20 minutes from time defender Lewis Rolfe saw red for the Hertfordshire club for a foul on Chris Hill and Lee Hales netted the resulting penalty before Tilley and Jack Jeffery put further gloss on the scoreline.

Thamesmead Town went down 4-2 at home to Needham Market, despite going ahead through Ashley Probets.

Ollie Fenn, Danny Bloomfield and Lee McGlone put Market 3-1 up before the break, and though Theo Fairweather-Johnson gave Mead hope on 55 minutes, Bloomfield added a fourth as Town slipped to 15th.

Cray Wanderers returned to the Premier Division play-off places after a 1-0 home win over Hastings United.

Margate scored at either end of their game at Wingate & Finchley to end a run of six straight defeats.
