A scooter rider who died after a crash on the M2 has been named.

Joseph Tocci, known as Joe, was 45, and lived at West Cliff Road, Ramsgate.

The crash on Sunday was on the London-bound carriageway between junctions six (for Faversham) and five (for Maidstone and Sheerness) at around 9.15am.

Mr Tocci was taken to hospital, but died of his injuries. A woman passenger was also taken to the William Harvey with minor injuries.
