This man is being hunted after a woman was sexually assaulted.

The victim, in her 40s, was approached by a man who asked for directions near the Royal British Legion building in Trinity Road, Gravesend.

As he started to walk away, he grabbed her and began to sexually assault her - but she managed to run to safety after the early-hours attack.

Kent Police said the offender is described as being of Asian appearance, 6ft 1in and broad.

He was wearing a grey waistcoat and trousers, had alcohol on his breath and spoke with an Asian accent.

The attack happened at about 4am on Sunday, August 19, but police have only just released this efit.
