Sophie Ellis-Bextor will perform at Bedgebury Pinetum as part of the Forestry Commission Live Music concerts.

The Murder On The Dancefloor singer will be the special guest of 1980s and 1990s chart toppers Erasure.

The 31-year-old started her career as lead singer of Theaudience in the late 1990s but hit mainstream success when she lent her voice to DJ Spiller's no.1 hit Groovejet in 2000.

She has since become a multi-platinum selling solo-artist for disco anthems like Take Me Home (A Girl Like Me), Mixed Up World and Get Over You.

The concert is on Saturday, June 11. Simple Minds headline a concert at Bedgebury on Friday, June 10.

Also today, it was revealed Eagles will headline the Hop Farm Festival and The Wanted will perform at Leeds Castle.
