Student punched in head by robbers

A TEENAGE student was robbed of his cash as he walked with friends through The Vines in Rochester.

Police have only just released details of the robbery which happened in the middle of July. Despite extensive inquiries officers have been unable to identify the culprits.

The 15-year-old student was approached by two men in The Vines, in Crow Lane, just after 7pm on Friday, July 15.

There was a heated exchange between him and the men and one of them started to punch him.

The student was then punched on the back of the head by the pair and fell to the floor.

He was punched and kicked and dragged along the floor before being robbed of some cash and other personal items. The two attackers then walked off along Crow Lane towards Rochester High Street.

A spokesman for Medway Police said: “The first offender is 19 and about 6ft with dark brown hair. He was wearing dark trousers and a reddish/brown top.

"The second offender is also of the same age and height, but with light brown hair and very uneven teeth. He was wearing a light blue sleeveless top and shorts.”
