Former EastEnders' star Joe Swash - now crowned king of the jungle - will start Christmas panto rehearsals in a Kent town next week.

The actor will be brought back to earth with a bump when he plays Buttons in Cinderella at the Central Theatre, Chatham.

But first he must come under the spotlight of his new celebrity status, after winning ITV series I'm a Celebrity.....Get Me Out of Here!

Last night was the final of the popular ITV1 show, presented by family favourities Ant and Dec.

The popular cheeky chappy beat off the challenge of Wimbledon champions and Star Trek actors to be named King of the Jungle.
