A TEENAGER is fighting for his life in hospital in Maidstone after a motorbike accident.

The 16-year old, from the Allington area of Maidstone, was seriously injured after the Gilera 50 cc motorcycle he was riding collided with a parked Audi car shortly before midnight last Friday in Poplar Grove, Allington. He is in a critical condition in the intensive care unit at Maidstone Hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the accident or the youngster on the motorcycle before the collision, particularly in the Queens Road/Poplar Grove area, is asked to contact PC Tony Howland at Maidstone and Malling Police on 01622 608061.
