A man was seriously injured on Saturday morning when he fell from a bridge onto tracks at Queenborough railway station, remains in hospital

The 44-year-old was found at 6.40am beside the tracks near the platforms.

It is believed he broke both wrists in the fall.

He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.

British Transport Police are investigating but say the incident is "unexplained" at the moment.

The track re-opened at 9.21am.

Anyone with information is asked to ring British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40.
