A boy has been banned from having a catapult after he admitted pelting a community warden.

Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court heard the 17-year-old launched the attack near his home in Westerham on March 24.

The teenager was banned from owning or using the weapon for a year and told him to attend an anger management course.

He was also ordered him to do 120 hours of unpaid work, take part in a victim empathy programme and pay £100 compensation

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had pleaded guilty assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
