Witness appeal after car park robbery

A 28-year-old woman had her handbag snatched during a robbery in a supermarket car park.

It took place at the ASDA store on the A229 in Chatham.

The bag contained keys, cards and cash and was stolen after the victim had been pushed onto her car by a blonde man.

He then joined an accomplice in a small white van before they drove off towards Maidstone.

Both men are described as aged 19-20 years old.

DC Robin Stump said: "These two may have been in the car park waiting for an opportunity and I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen them."

The robbery took place just before 4pm on Friday, August 11.
