Woman, 18, critically ill in hospital after crash in Dartford

A teenager is critically ill in hospital after being hit by a car in Dartford.

The 18-year-old woman was struck by a silver Mercedes in Heath Street, at the Phoenix Place junction, on Friday.

The pedestrian, from the Dartford area, was airlifted to King's College Hospital, in London.

Kent Police said she remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition with serious injuries after the crash, at about 6.30pm.

Kent Police is appealing for information after a pedestrian and a car collided in Dartford on Friday 7 September.

Heath Street was closed until around 12.40am while officers investigated.
