A woman who died in a Greenhithe car crash has been named.

Philippa Watson, 51, of Green Street Green Road, Dartford, was hit by a Ford Transit flatbed van at 7.20am on Wednesday, August 24, in Cobham Terrace.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Floral tributes from family and friends were laid at the crash site close to McDonald's.

Investigators said it's believed the vehicle was reversing at the time.

A 23-year-old man, from Essex, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been bailed until Tuesday, September 20.
