Women taken to hospital after orchard crash

Two women in their 20s have been taken to hospital after their car crashed into an orchard.

Firefighters and two ambulance crews were called to the scene in Fenn Street, St Mary Hoo, in the early hours of this morning.

The pair were treated for cuts and bruises and taken to hospital at about midnight.

A firefighter at Strood station said: "The car was lodged pretty tightly into the bush."
