VICTIM: David Henkel suffered a fractured skull following a single punch

A 21-year-old man denied a manslaughter charge when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court.

Nabhar Bahar, of Harmer Street, Gravesend, is accused of killing David Henkel, 31, in the Luton area of Chatham, on July 26.

Mr Henkel, of Chatham, suffered a fractured skull following a single punch during an incident in Bank Street.

Bahar, who came to England from Afghanistan, will stand trial on January 23. He was remanded in custody.
