Young man in dock over double stabbing

A MAN accused of two stabbings outside a pub in Kent has appeared at Maidstone Crown Court.

Ryan Lloyd, of Springwood Road, Barming, near Maidstone, is charged with wounding with intent Damian Stemp, 30, and Sonny Tolley, 20, on August 26.

Mr Stemp was critically ill after suffering a punctured lung and damaged liver outside the Fountain pub. Mr Tolley, of Springwood Road, had wounds to his neck and face.

Mr Stemp, known as Bod, is a father-of-four, who attended Astor of Hever Community School in Maidstone.

Lloyd, 21, was remanded in custody until November 6 when he is expected to enter pleas to the charges.
