CHARLTON could be boosted by the return of the injured Chris Perry, Jonatan Johansson and Kevin Lisbie for their gruelling Christmas schedule.

After back-to-back away wins against Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion, the Addicks return to The Valley for Monday’s London derby with Fulham, which is followed by four games in nine days against Southampton, Everton, Arsenal and Blackburn.

Perry has not played since failing to re-appear for the second half against Manchester United at Old Trafford on November 20 owing to a groin problem.

Johansson limped out of the south London derby at Crystal Palace on December 5, also with groin trouble. Lisbie has not played since injury against Norwich on November 13.

Curbishley said: “Jonatan is in light training while Lisbie is a week away. Chris Perry is also a week away before he can start light training.”

He conceded he had a number of unhappy players who were unable to break into the starting line-up but urged them to bide their time.

“I’ve got a bench that has Jeffers on it, Euell on it and Konchesky. Three experienced Premier League players who are desperate to be playing regularly," he said.

“That’s part and parcel of a Premiership club that has been a part of it for five years. We also have Mark Fish back from injury and he was in the squad at West Bromwich on Saturday. We are going to need them all for the Christmas period."
