Away day for Addicks in Cup

ALAN CURBISHLEY'S men have been drawn away to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

On current form it won't be a particularly easy match for Charlton who suffered another defeat on Sunday afternoon when they went down 5-2 against Manchestsr City at The Valley.

The Owls, who only gained promotion from League 1 via the play-offs last season, are one place above the drop zone in the Championship.

The ties will be played on the weekend of January 7 and 8.
