Chance for fans to watch Addicks train for free

Charlton supporters will be admitted to The Valley free of charge to watch manager Alan Pardew conduct pre-season training on Friday, August 1.

Pardew will be wired up with a microphone so fans will be able to watch and listen as he puts the players through their paces. The Valley doors open at 10am with training taking place between 11am and 1pm.

Refreshments will be available on the lower West Stand concourse while Bartrams will serve food and drink. Afterwards, players will be available in the Valley Superstore to sign autographs.

The same day sees the final deadline for supporters wanting to take advantage of Charlton's pioneering free season ticket offer that enables supporters who purchase tickets for the 2008-09 campaign to receive a free one should the Addicks win promotion back to the Premier League.
