Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish has continued his squad rebuilding with the re-signing of defenceman Anthony Lennon.

Lennon, 23, has been at the club for the past three seasons and will provide further competition for places.

Parrish said: “Anthony didn’t have a good season last year. He was at university and couldn’t commit to training.

“He’s not at university this year and will be able to train twice a week.

“Although he didn’t have a good season last year, he’s still one of our best defenders. He hardly makes a mistake and takes the body hard.

“At that age you can get carried away and want to go up and score goals.

“He’s a stay-at-home defenceman and as soon as he gets over the blue line, he gets a nosebleed!”
