Teenage water skiing ace Jake Frame has been honoured by his club after a stunning season.

The 14-year-old Temple School pupil finished the season as bronze medal winner in the Junior British Championship, was silver medalist at the European Championships as Euro kid B and took gold in the European Cup series.

He secured those medals despite jumping up from a lower age group category this year.

“I thought he’d struggle but he’s worked hard over the spring and summer,” admitted grandfather and boat driver Barry Frame.

England international Frame attends Allhallows Yacht Club and they held their annual dinner and dance at the St George Hotel in Chatham on Saturday,

The club awarded him a trophy in recognition of what he achieved in the last year and the huge amount of publicity the club has received due to his and his team’s success.
