GILLINGHAM have confirmed the sale of Dean McDonald to Scottish Premier Division side Inverness.

The 21-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Jags after he became surplus to requirements in Ronnie Jepson's new look squad.

The former Arsenal trainee arrived last summer from Ipswich and went on to score six goals in 29 games, but failed to hold down a regular starting place in Jepson's side.
