Kent arrange pre-season campaign

KENT’S backroom team have organised the club’s pre-season fixtures ahead of the 2007 campaign.

Their friendly games start on Thursday, April 5 with a three-day match at St Lawrence against Mark Ealham’s Nottinghamshire.

The county bandwagon then moves to Worsley Bridge Road in Beckenham where Kent will entertain Surrey on Tuesday, April 10 and Wednesday, April 11.

Rob Key’s side then wrap up their preparation with a one-day game at Northamptonshire’s Wantage Road Ground on Thursday, April 12, where they could come up against another familiar face in former Kent wicketkeeper Niall O’Brien.

Prior to all that, Kent's players and coaches will again head off to Spain for a six-day traning camp at Le Manga. They will fly out on Sunday, March 18.
