CHATHAM'S memorable Ryman League Division 1 South 3-1 win over Dover on Saturday will stand.

A floodlight failure at the end of the game left the result in doubt. It was originally declared on the league's website but on Monday morning it was listed as being abandoned in the 94th minute.

However, Dover were informed on Monday afternoon that the game will not be replayed.

Whites' secretary Frank Clarke said: "The Ryman League held an extraordinary board meeting this afternoon and they decided that Saturday's result will stand."
