KENT'S Sam Northeast has been included in the England Under-19 squad for the ICC 2008 World Cup in Malaysia.

He is one of 10 players who have already played first class cricket for their counties, having made his debut in the final game of the season against Durham last month.

Harrow schoolboy Northeast, 18 later this month, toured the Far East country with England earlier this year.

The tournament takes place between February 17 and March 2, involving 16 nations.
