PARRISH: "All credit to the boys who have come in"

COACH Kevin Parrish praised his injury-hit Dynamos after they secured a battling win at a bogey ground.

Jordy Black scored five goals and man-of-the-match Peter Carey three as the Mos beat Oxford City Stars 11-6 in their latest English National Ice Hockey League match on Sunday.

But their task was made more difficult when, for the second week running, a couple of players suffered serious looking injuries.

Key defenceman Anthony Lennon was knocked unconscious for several minutes after falling awkwardly following a collision with an opponent.

Matt Drake picked up a side strain in another bad fall.

Parrish said: "We’ve just got to deal with it and all credit to the boys who have come in. People keep stepping up."

Dynamos face Cardiff Devils at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday.
