Ryman League round-up

Margate battled back from a goal down to take all three points in their Ryman League Premier Division clash at Boreham Wood last night.

The Gate's recent run of five straight defeats was put to an end when goals from Luke Wheatley and Wayne Wilson gave them a 2-1 win.

Tonbridge threw away a two goal lead before drawing 3-3 at Sutton.

Chukki Eribenne put Sutton in front, before Angels hit back to take a 3-1 lead after two goals in first-half injury time. Their goalscorers were Scott Gooding, Ade Olorunda and Jamie Cade.

Craig Dundas reduced the deficit for Sutton before Eribenne equalised from the penalty spot.

Thamesmead suffered a 2-0 defeat at Cheshunt in Ryman League Division 1 North.

Late goals from Bradley Harrison and Reece Prestedge gave the home side the points.

Results: Ryman League Premier Division: Boreham Wood 1 Margate 2, Sutton 3 Tonbridge 3.

Division 1 North: Cheshunt 2 Thamesmead 0.
