MICK DOCHERTY: "It's a shame we didn't turn our supremacy into goals"

Bournemouth 1 Gillingham 1

GILLINGHAM assistant manager Mick Docherty felt his side could have taken all three points from Saturday's trip to Bournemouth.

With manager Ronnie Jepson out scouting, it was left to Docherty and chief scout Alan McLeary to take charge of the club's final away trip of the season.

Docherty said: "It's a shame we didn't turn our supremacy into goals.

"Towards the end of last season we won six in a row and we were hoping to emulate that by winning our last five."
