Tuesday night football round-up

SITTINGBOURNE completed a Southern League Division 1 East double over Berkhamsted Town with a hard-fought 3-1 win.

Two goals in two first half minutes from Kieran Marsh and Ricky Spiller had Steve Lovell's side in control but the home side fought back and reduced the deficit from the penalty spot midway through the second period.

But Mitchell Sherwood pounced in the last minute to restore the two-goal lead and wrap up the victory.

Bromley's Westview League Cup quarter-final against Wealdstone was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch at Hayes Lane.

It will now be played on Tuesday, March 7, kick-off 7.45pm.
