Influential batsman Martin van Jaarsveld says Kent’s players will be raring to go on Twenty20 finals day after their rest days - even though he spent his time off changing nappies!

The South African was on domestic duties, but he revealed his team mates had been enjoying the sunshine and playing golf earlier in the week following the Spitfires win over Warwickshire in the Pro40.

He said preparations had been relaxed as the squad build up to Saturday’s showdown at the Rose Bowl.
